CASE STUDY – TRANSFERRING TECHNOLOGY TO A NEW LOCATION.
- September 16, 2015
An international oil and gas company was relocating their head office so they engaged Commandacom to manage a seamless, low risk transfer of their vital Voice communication and IT systems.
Tokyo Gas develops Oil and Liquified Natural Gas projects across Australia through a head office located in the Perth CBD and site offices across Australia. For Tokyo Gas, its critical to stay connected through reliable communications and technology.
We’re all familiar with the money, time and resources invested in oil and gas projects. Staying connected and in touch is essential for Tokyo Gas to manage risk and maximise efficiencies across multiple remote locations. The immediate challenge was to complete the office relocation, a complex project that involves high levels of risk in terms of maintaining data security, communication channels and general connectivity.
The Tokyo Gas project is a great example of Commandacom’s ability to manage and take care of every aspect of a client’s communications requirements. A priority for Tokyo Gas, was to minimise down time to ensure maintained productivity and keep working through the move. Commandacom delivered on this priority.
We worked closely with the client team to plan the logistics of the move, provide advice and perform site audits. Our then teams relocated Tokyo Gas’ IT Network, voice and data cabling and their entire telephone system on the same day. Thorough preparation and collaboration with the client team achieved a rapid relocation with no hiccups.
The project was executed smoothly. Tokyo Gas management and staff had no need to worry about anything other than turning up at their new office location and getting on with business.
We’re delighted that Tokyo Gas approached the Commandacom team for help.
